It is said that pasta was invented in China 4,000 years ago, however it is usually associated with Italy. It is claimed that pasta came to Sweden in the middle of the 17th Century and became popular during the 20th Century*. Every year the World Pasta Day is celebrated on October 25, which was instituted as late as 1995. The C3s wholly automatic pasta machine Pasta Basta makes fresh pasta from the start in less than 15 minutes and comes with 6 different nozzles pieces. Available in black and white.
The C3 wholly automatic pasta machine is simple to use, just add flour, egg, oil and water and let the machine knead the dough into a pasta dough. Fresh pasta is ready within 15 minutes and the automatic programme controls the kneading process itself – from mixing all the ingredients together into a smooth dough. The machine then extracts the dough and the choice of type of pasta comes out at the same time as the machine dries the pasta, so that it will not become sticky.
There are a total of 6 different forms of pasta to choose from: spaghettini, spaghetti, tagliatelle, linguine, gaganelli and penne. The recipe folder with many different pasta recipes is included to inspire you in the kitchen. The recipe folder is made in collaboration with Jennifer, who operates the blog littledessert.se. Other accessories included are: flour and liquid measuring cups, a spanner, a pasta cutter and a cleaning brush.
–” Indulge yourself, your family or your friends with home-made pasta in less than 15 minutes. Nowadays I usually say that there are three different kinds of pasta: dry pasta, fresh pasta and real fresh pasta! That you can easily make at home during the weekday or for a nice dinner”, says Erik Fröderberg, Swedish chef**.
**Erik Fröderberg works every day as a professional and experienced chef/TV-chef, known from his participation in Sweden in SVT:s cooking program Här är ditt kylskåp (This is your refrigerator) and has, together with C3 taped an instruction video for C3 Pasta Basta (in Swedish) that is available on the C3s YouTube channel.
